Tom Judd is the owner and founder of sharkeatsbear. Having delved in various areas of video production and graphics design, his main focus is now as a writer/director.

Tom graduated from the College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Digital Media in 2008. It was during this degree that he discovered his passion for film making when collaborating with Taka Honda on a short film in 2006, which received the best editing award at a film festival. Following this were a series of finalist entries in competitions and then working for a couple of production companies as a video editor. sharkeatsbear was established in early-2009 and has since produced promo/corporate videos, music videos, short films and TV commercials.

In mid-2009, Tom volunteered on a documentary about Fair Trade coffee farmers in Ethiopia for World Vision. It was an amazing, eye-opening experience, which significantly altered the direction Tom wanted himself and sharkeatsbear to pursue with future projects. With two completed feature film scripts under his belt and one being considered for production, Tom continues to write and is embarking on a self-financed feature at the end of the year with mentor, co-writer and friend, Hunter Cordaiy.
