Barneys Broadway

My (Tom) family has a bit of history at St Barnabas Broadway. Towards the end of 2009, I received a call to do a video for their 150th Birthday Celebration event and since then, sharkeatsbear has been heavily involved in video production for both their fundraising efforts and their general multimedia needs. It's been an amazing relationship with the people from Barneys and there is this feeling that of value as well as appreciation for every project.

Here are a collection of works and a brief description of what was involved:

If you know anything about Barneys Broadway, or "That church in Broadway that burned-down in 2006," then you'll know that it's in ruins... or at least was! sharkeatsbear did the coverage for the demolition process. Above are some highlights.

The Swinging of the Hammer! The official kick-off for demolition.

sharkeatsbear was also there for the farewell service.

Here are some highlights from the 150th Celebration.

The first video I did for Barneys for their 150th Celebration. The project's goal was to encapsulate what was going on at Barneys today and show the optimism the community has for the future of the church. It was shot over a few separate days over the course of a month.
